robert’s a tire. an angry tire. and protagonist in quentin dupieux’ latest movie “rubber”. presented at this year’s cannes film festival, rubber is a movie about the adventures of an angry tire, rolling through the desert. and well, as if that is not enough, dupieux thought about a little special: robert (of course) has super psychodelic powers, it can explode objects like bottles, birds, boxes and (preferably) people’s heads.
yep, pretty odd. sadly i did not have the chance to watch the full movie (75 min!) yet. however as you could expect, dupieux did not only do the shooting of the movie. since his alter ego is mr. oizo, you could guess, that he also did the production of a soundtack (which is yet to be realeased). here’s a fresh little teaser:
