ok, it’s late.
but i have to share this with you. i found this video the other day and i’m still searching for the right words to describe it. unsettling may be one. touching also. intense, definitely.
it’s a modern dance performance, choreographed by gabrielle martin, the video has been directed by ivan rubio. it’s amazingly shot and produced. also pretty interesting is the music: a decent mix of murcof, pan sonic, ryoji ikeda and (my week’s favourite) bj nilsen (he has this wonderful release with hildur, but we’ll get to that later).
the director however discribes the video like this: “Both tranquil and frenetic, the Future aftermath of Axial and the Plane offers an ambivalent response to the eternal question of Our fated existence.”
anyway, whether answer or not, i like it. kind of.
