i just discovered this unsettling video for kitty wu’s act surprised. the wonderful footage is actually taken from phie ambo’s movie mechanical love presented at dansihdocumentary festival.
as for kitty wu - they’re an inventive band (some might call them indie-rockers. i don’t) from denmark. someone was here is their latest and already fourth studio album - and if there is one thing you cannot accuse them for, it’s standing still. this rather new and pretty calm, atmospheric and somehow still characteristic sound is developed in 11 songs.
i took me some time to get into it. now i love it!
